Welcome to Abernethy Creek Farm

Life is a journey and that is what our family is all about. Homeschooling - church - youth and high school athletics - 4H - FFA - rodeos and equestrian teams - goats and fresh eggs - gardening and being outdoors - public high school - hunting and fishing - frugal lifestyle - the list could go on. After 20+ years of marriage and four children, we have been inspired by so many people. It is our hope that we can pay it forward and be the inspiration for others who are along with us on this journey. Life is random but never an accident. Come along and discover with us how truly blessed we have been and where the good Lord would like to lead us next.

Abernethy Creek Farm is our hobby farm on four acres outside of a suburban city. We are fortunate to be able to have a herd of dairy goats which our daughters raise for 4H. We also maintain a flock of laying hens and offer their eggs as available for sale. We also lay claim to fame in that we have a horse, a pony, a donkey, and a miniature horse that share our space with us. With the addition of our two miniature Australian shepherd puppies, we feel busy and fulfilled. Our garden is a work in progress but it provides us with fresh food during our growing season which is supplemented by our fruit trees and berries.
