Preserving at Abernathy Creek Farm

Whether frozen, canned, or dried, preserving is an essential part of capturing the goodness of seasonal foods. Not everything we preserve is grown here but is usually harvested by us and grown locally. True joy is opening a jar of preserves or perhaps some pickled vegetables bringing back the essence of summer's harvest.
